For dirt mounting, the spotlight includes a 1/2″ NPT (National Pipe Thread) base that screws into a junction box. You can also use an optional super heavy-duty Rocket Post for in-ground dirt mounting. The NPT base and Rocket Post provide flexible and secure installation options for different outdoor settings.
