You can mount this light to a surface ceiling using the included 5″ round canopy (standard) or the 5″x5″ square Deco canopy (optional). It can also be mounted without a canopy by using the chain to hang from a tree or other structure. The variety of mounting options allows for versatile installation in a wide range of locations, both indoors and outdoors.
