For dirt mounting, the spotlight comes with a 1/2-inch NPT (National Pipe Thread) base that screws into a junction box. You can use a standard junction box or choose the optional super heavy-duty Rocket Post for in-ground installations. The Rocket Post also allows for junction box-free installation by letting you run conduit underground. These options give you installation flexibility and durability for different landscaping needs.
