I have an outdoor post with a trex cover and light on the top. I need to convert the power at the post to low volt 60 To 400 Watt Max 12VDC or 24VDC LED Electronic Outdoor Transformers Landscape Lighting Low Voltage Transformers
The light spec requires a power unit transformer rated a maximum of 300 W (25 AMPS) 15 volts. Note the post and light had electricity hard wired from the house to the post. I am hoping to use that same wiring (120V) at the post and simply install a transformer to fit inside the Trex / Post and step down the voltage to work.
