If you wire a 12V power supply to a 24V LED strip light, such as the 12V/24V 4.4 Watt/Foot Single Color LED Strip, the LEDs will likely not light up or will glow very dimly due to insufficient voltage. This under-voltage condition won't damage the LEDs, but they will not function as intended.
