When considering the the best voltage for our landscape lights such as our SKU# SRB410 Patriot Solid Brass Spotlight, factors such as whether it is a new installation or you are replacing existing lights. If it is a new installation, we recommend going with 12V Low Voltage as it is both safer for outdoor use as well as far less installation costs as conduit does not need to be run. If going with 12V, consider the length of runs and the load on the runs (watts) in order to choose your landscape wire. 120V installations run off standard household "line" voltage and do not require a transformer. 120V is typically used when existing 120V lights are being replaced.
